Boarding

BOARDING: 

We are not currently accepting *board only* horses. All horses boarded at CNPH must also be in a training or lesson package. Board is inclusive of daily hay, grain, Outlast gastric support, water, stall cleaning (7 days/week) and turn out (weather permitting). 

BARN RULES: 

• Clean up after your horse and yourself. There are trash containers, shovels, brooms and muck buckets available for the disposal of manure, shedded hair, dirt, etc. 
• Grooming areas and arena sand need to be swept before leaving the barn
• Please turn off the lights in the arena, barn and tack room if you are the last person at the barn
• If you open it close it - this applies to all doors in the barn
• Clean up any Manure, Hair, or mess created by you or your horse IMMEDIATELY. Do NOT wait until after you are finished riding
• Do NOT leave manure in wheelbarrows
• Manure disposal area is for MANURE only. NO hay strings, paper, trash or hair
• Arrive at the barn 10-15 minutes before your lesson to groom and tack your horse. 
• Riders should be picked up promptly at the end of their lesson. 
• Riders should expect to spend an additional 10-15 minutes after lesson caring for horse and tack. 
• After ride, every horse needs to be cooled down, groomed properly, feet picked, and re-blanketed if needed
• Grooming areas and arena sand need to be swept before leaving the barn
• All students must supply their own helmet for riding
• Riders must wear jeans/long pants when riding. No riding in shorts, cutoffs, or short pants
• Riders under the age of 18 years old must wear a Helmet when mounted and riders over 18 are HIGHLY encouraged to wear helmets. 
• No riders under the age of 16 may ride alone without parental supervision, a guardian present, or trainer (with prior permission)
• All tack must be cleaned and stored properly after EVERY ride. 
• Please do not give treats to horses unless approved by the owner 
• Please do not leave your horse unattended in any area including riding arena or grooming areas
• No lunging in the outdoor arena
• Trails/Field are only open when noted on the board
• If any arena equipment (poles, jumps, obstacles) are taken out, put them back after your ride
